A Mech Game and the Visitors Who Shredded Your House.

I went into a nail salon and met a guy who was really into a mech based shooter game and we were talking about his pc and how well he could run it on his machine and i ended up letting him know that a friend of mine was into it as well. The game allowed you to pilot a mech and shoot tons of waves of enemies in very fast and active combat and you could end up having them drop weapons and power ups but also “clues” and those clues would allow you to find places to drop below the map and learn lore about the pilot, the mechs, the future you were in and you could piece together stuff about various countries and the way they built and utilized their mechs and armies and military. The game didn’t require it but it was how you got a storyline out of it. The rest was ultimately a time attack mode or high score or survival.  I told The guy i was speaking to that my friend was really into it as well. The City, Reconciliation.

I was living in a city, probably New York City, and it felt a little bit like a Gene Hackman 70s movie, maybe even modern like Heaven Knows What. I was dating someone different, someone new who I had never met before in real life. This girl I was dating had blue hair. And I was walking in the street, out of some bar or restaurant and I caught Beetle ‘spying’ on me or stalking me. And at first, I thought ‘How long has she been watching me?’ but then shortly after rationalized that it seemed that she just saw me through a window or enter the restaurant and hung around this one time. I was currently alone, and ‘confronted’ her by going up to her and she also had blue hair and I was smirking and she knew that it was a totally ridiculous situation where she was thinking something along the lines of ‘oh great, I know he’s going to say something about this…’ and I did, of course.
